I started my career in youth residential care, supporting young people through some of the most challenging circumstances. That experience shaped how I lead today, with empathy, honesty, and a clear understanding that real support requires more than just showing up.

When I moved into the disability sector, I knew one thing straight away, the standard needed to be higher.

So I built a service that reflects exactly that.

At Mitchell & McCallum, Get Dignity First Care, we don’t do “basic support.” We deliver care that is intentional, accountable, and built around the individual. Every person we support is treated with respect, dignity, and genuine care, no exceptions.

I personally select every member of my team, my Superstars. I don’t compromise on quality. They are skilled, values-driven, and expected to show up fully, every shift.

We operate differently for a reason. QR codes on uniforms for real-time feedback. A strict no-phone policy during shifts. Clear expectations around presence, professionalism, and respect.

Because when someone trusts us with their care, “good enough” isn’t acceptable.

Everything we do is aligned with NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation, but we don’t stop at compliance. We set the benchmark.

This isn’t just a service. It’s a standard.
